Consumers Power Christmas Recipes, 1967

Updated: Apr 27, 2021

In my mid-century cookbook collection I have a trove of "cookbooklets," or elaborate, soft cover recipe pamphlets. Frequently used for advertising while providing seasonal recipes, this cookbooklet hails from the Wolverine State and is full of all sorts of festive Christmas recipe ideas.

A very nice cover, with dramatic depth of field.

Christmas Log recipe is on page eleven!

Nothing says Christmas quite like puffs and nuggets.

I live for homemade 1000 Island.

A trizza is a plait or a braid in both Sicilian and Maltese. You're welcome. Don't miss the log recipe!

Who doesn't enjoy a good baba?

I'd like to try the Popcorn Cake just to see it!
