Spiderweb Dip & Halloween Charcuterie 🎃

On Tuesday, October 24, I had another terrific time with Hazel and Dan on pix11news. We talked about how to make the scariest Halloween charcuterie boards, plus they totally rocked making my spooky Spiderweb Taco Dip. Click here to watch the segment. RECIPES, and more photos below!

Spiderweb Taco Dip

Serves a 12 person party

My de-constructed (or RE-constructed) take on a 7-layer dip, spooky Halloween style!

1 can (16 ounces) refried beans

1 can (4 ounces) diced green chiles

1 pound ground chuck

1 small onion, diced

1 packet taco seasoning

8 ounces salsa

8 ounces (2 cups) shredded cheddar cheese (farmstyle cut preferred)

2 cans (2.25 ounces each) sliced black olives

14 ounces guacamole

4 ounces sour cream

Fritos Scoops corn chips - Party Size! 🎃 🎉

In skillet over medium high heat stir together refried beans and chiles till fully warmed. Set aside. Wipe out skillet. Add chuck, onion, taco seasoning and a splash of water, cook till no longer pink.

Layer in beans, top with beef, pour over salsa, make a ring of cheese and black olives. In center spread the guacamole.

To a small piping bag add the sour cream, cut off tip. Make a spiral of sour cream, from center to outer edge of guacamole. With a toothpick, drag from center outwards to create the spooky web!

Serve with corn chips to squeals of holiday delight.

I was so impressed with the job Dan and Hazel did on the spiderweb I had to stop mid-segment and take a photo of their outstanding handiwork.

The sweet charcuterie board. Haven't I seen that cookbook somewhere as well?
