1,000 Fabulous Sandwiches Cookbook, 1965

Tasty excerpts from "1,000 Fabulous Sandwiches Cookbook," Doris McFerran Townsend, 1965.

I'd love to try this "gourmet" cheddar-herb bread, looks like a real endeavor! And what's not to love about Monte Cristo-style international grilled cheeses?!

Wonder Ways with Ham Salad! Yes please! And, why is a sandwich with onion and green peppers called "Denver?" Well, did you know: "The Denver omelet was developed to mask the stale flavor of eggs shipped by wagon freight." Yum!

I am going to try every one of these in Denmark when I go in July of 2023 !!! 🇩🇰 🥪 🇩🇰 🥪

Egg and anchovy? Don't mind if I do!

A Party "Zoo," and the gourmet French Salad way!

You had me at "antipasto."

More dutch cheese, and of course, when company comes, only a creamy party loaf will do.

Loaves and more loaves! I just loaf them! heheh. 🍞 🍞 🍞

All for now, keep on loaf-in'!
