Two Chilling, Thrilling, Halloween-Themed Watch Parties! 🎃

and . . . COOK to WIN!

On Saturday and Sunday, October 26th and 27th, I will be hosting, along with famous London author and celebrity recipe anthologist Jenny Hammerton, two "cook to win" online watch parties! I will be in New York City and Jenny in merry old England.

Saturday, at matinee time in the states (and cocktail time in London), we'll be viewing (and commenting in real time) on Hitchcock's shocking masterpiece, "Psycho."

Sunday we'll be enjoying Murder She Wrote's "Incident in Lot 7" in which Jessica (Angela, of course) visits the Psycho House on the Universal Studios lot, and nefarious hijinks naturally ensue.

We are hosting a contest with six celebrity recipes (3 from each show's cast) and whomever cooks one of them the best and sends us a description of their experience and a photo or two (even if it's a fail and it makes Jenny and I laugh the hardest) wins a copy of one of our cookbooks: mine "The Infinite Feast" for the US contestants and hers "Murder, She Cooked" for the Europeans!

The USA home cooks will test the Psycho recipes, and the European home cooks will test the Murder, She Wrote recipes. Winner of USA gets one of these, and winner of Europe/elsewhere gets one of these!

Again, I watch Psycho on Amazon Prime, here. Murder, She Wrote can be streamed in the states on Peacock (Season 8, episode 13).

The closing date for sending us your recipe feedback and photos is November 1st, so there’s lots of time to cook!

Pop these dates in your calendars and please join us! You will note from the above chart, because British Summer Time (BST) ends on 26th October as their clocks go back an hour, they'll be on GMT on the Sunday. So, for example, if you are in New York, Saturday’s Psycho Watch Party will be at 2pm your time, whereas Sunday’s Murder, She Wrote Watch party will be at 3pm.

Join us for one of the parties or both if you can. It’s always fun watching the same thing at the same time as lots of other folks around the world.

Even if you can't join the parties, you can still cook to win. Get those entries going! A description of what you thought of the recipe and how it went, and a photo or two is all you need!
